Crede Calhoun, who is back from the Panama canal zone, was a visitor in town last week to call on his friends. He is in the postal service at a town called Miraflores. There are not more than two or three English speaking residents in the place but he says he gets along quite well as he has learned the language and is able to carry on a conversation with the people who are mostly of Spanish and Indian descent. His vacation expires in a few days when he will return to duty, September 21.
