The Manchester Hassock factory, which has been closed the past few days following the death of the owner, Herbert H. Baumgartner, reopened this morning under the management of Raymond Brooks, who was appointed administrator of the estate Tuesday by Judge Walter Bent. An inventory of the stock will be made Friday by A.H. Henckel and George Hartung. It is estimated that the raw materials that can be manufactured into hassocks, has a value of nearly $6,000, and this asset will increase in value as it is converted into manufactured products.
