It is not necessary for us to say much of the REPUBLICAN as it is its own best witness. We have endeavored to give a pen picture of current events, to uphold the right and suppress the wrong, and we hope to do the more by enlarging our paper at an early day. In the future as in the past no intimidation will prevent us doing our duty as we see it.
