Fifteen or twenty new houses are all ready under contract, to be erected near
the depots the coming season.
It is expected that there will be four saloons within a frog's jump of each
other near the railroads, within three months. Let the friends of temperance
make a note of this and act accordingly.

Mr. Jesse Tyler states that North Manchester has never been so prosperous as
it has been since the saloons were driven out. He states that every available
store building and house has been rented and that the place is booming in all
lines.
