ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION OF DEWITT MOTOR VEHICLE COMPANY
We, Virgil L. DeWitt, Mary J. DeWitt, and James H. Rose, hereby associate ourselves together, as a body politic and corporate, under and by virtue of the general laws of the State of Indiana for the incorporation of manufacturing and mining companies, and all acts amendatory thereof, and supplemental thereto, and hereby adopt the following articles of incorporation.
I.
The corporate name of this Company shall be DeWitt Motor Vehicle Company.
II.
The objects of the promotion and organization of said Company shall be the manufacture and sale of self propelling vehicles and their parts, and to buy and sell such vehicles and parts.
III.
The capital stock of said company shall be Ten Thousand Dollars, divided into one hundred shares of one Huncred Dollars each.
IV.
The term of existence of this company shall be Fifty years.
V.
The number of directors of said Company shall be three, and the directors for the first year shall be Virgil L. DeWitt, Mary J. DeWitt, and James H. Rose.
The principal place of business of said Company shall be located in North Manchester, Wabash County, Indiana.
In Witness Whereof, We have hereunto executed these articles, in Duplicate, and have hereunto set our hands and seals, this 26th day of October, 1908
