WELL KNOWN LADY DIED WEDNESDAY
Anna Oppenheim died at the Oppenheim home on West Second street Wednesday morning about five o'clock. She had been in failing health for some time, but seriously ill only a few weeks. Monday night her condition became more serious, and her brother, B. Oppenheim, who was in New York, was summoned. He arrived Tuesday evening. The funeral will be held at the residence Friday afternoon at 1:30. Rabbi Markowitz of Fort Wayne will have charge of the service and burial will be in the Jewish cemetery at Wabash.
Miss Oppenheim was the daughter of Jacob Oppenheim and wife and was born in Detroit. Later her parents moved to North Manchester and this has been her home most of the time since then. Surviving are five brothers and sisters: B. Oppenheim, Isaac Oppenheim, Miss Fanny Oppenheim and Mrs. Robert Weiner of North Manchester and Mrs. Ida Flonacher of Chicago.
