FRANK M'FANN DIED YESTERDAY

Frank McFann, once well known in North Manchester and whose earlier life was spent at Liberty Mills, died yesterday afternoon at his home in south Bend. for the past five years he had been bedfast most of the time from injuries received when he was struck by a car driven by a young man in South Bend. His hip was fractured at that time, and this in connection with infirmities of old age caused death.

Frank McFann was the son of A.B. McFann, and was born in Liberty Mills October 28, 1848. His father was a  band leader of noted, and directed the North Manchester band in an early day when it was a leader in band contests all over this part of the country, and his son was a member of the band. Frank McFann was twice married, first to May Clemens, and one son, Elton McFann of Montpelier, Ohio, was born to this marriage. Later he married Miss Sadie Mullford of Logansport, who survives. There were three daughters by this marriage, all living. He is also survived by five sisters, Mrs. Clara Sala, Mrs. Frank Bonewitz of this city, Mrs. Laura Lower and Mrs. Sybil Shier of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Catharine Williams of Indianapolis.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at three o'clock at South Bend.
