J. Frederick Trick, Sr. (1920-2004)
J. Frederick Trick, Sr., 84 of 600 E. 5th Street, North Manchester, Indiana,
died at 1:15am at his residence. He was born February 5, 1920 in North
Manchester to Grover and Tressa (Dillman) Trick. He married Izetta Richburg in
Fort Worth, Texas, on February 12, 1943.
Fred was a retired businessman in North Manchester, a member of the Zion
Lutheran Church, a member of the North Manchester Public Library Board of
Directors from 1969-1980, a charter member of the North Manchester Chamber of
Commerce, and chairman of the Building Committee of the North Manchester
Community Pool. He was also a US Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Mr. Trick is survived by his wife, Izetta Marie Trick of North Manchester; his
three sons, J.Frederick (Dorinda) Trick, Jr, of Northport, Alabama, William F.
(Sherri) Trick of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Kyle F. (Stacey) Trick of North
Manchester; his four granddaughters, Kacy (Matt) Meyer of South Whitley, Tricia
(Matt) Trick-Eckert of Indianapolis, Elizabeth (Darren) McAusland of Tuscaloosa,
and Megan Trick of Fort Wayne; his four grandsons, Grand William Trick of New
York, New York, Daniel Scott Trick of Mishawaka, and Remington and Spence Trick
of North Manchester; his great-grandson, Mason Meyer; and his
great-granddaughter, Makenzy Meyer, both of South Whitley.
Funeral services will be held at the North Manchester Public Library on Sunday,
November 7, 2004 at 2pm. Friends may call at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender
Chapel in North Manchester, Saturday, November 6, from 5-7pm. Burial will be at
a later date at Oaklawn Cemetery.
