Orlando Rex, son of William and Delanie Rex was born near Kokomo, Ind., in 1864 and died April 30, 1929, in Chicago, Ill. After a long illness which developed into pneumonia, he finally consented to be removed to the hospital, but there he failed to rally. He leaves to mourn him his daughter, Grace, nine years old, who resides with her aunt, Miss Emily Sandagger, 58 Goethe street, Chicago; two brothers, William Rex, of San Diego, Calif., and Francis Rex of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three nephews, Charles Rex, Valparaiso, James Rex, Fall River, Mass., and Joseph Rex, Gary; and one niece, Maggie Rex, Valparaiso.
Funeral service was held at the Lawrence Funeral home, 7846 Stoey Island Ave. Rev. C.O. Harvey, 8148 Avalon avenue officiating, and burial was at Beverly cemetery, 119th street and California avenue, Chicago.
