Reuben Harter, a young man about 22 years of age, son of Henry Harter died at his home in the west part of town, last Saturday evening. He had only been sick about ten days. He had contracted a severe cold which settled in his lungs, and caused his death. He leaves a wife to mourn her loss. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon at the German Baptist Church in this city. Rev. R.H. Miller officiating. The body was interred in the new cemetery. The funeral services were largely attended.
