Winchester,
Milan,
Batesville and Oldenburg, Indiana.
On Thursday June 18th we will travel by motor coach to
Winchester IN to see how Wicks Pies are made. This is the home of the Sugar
Cream pie, the official pie for the State of
Indiana.
After our tour, we will have lunch at Mrs. Wicks Pie Shop.
We will then travel to Milan In. to visit the Milan
Basketball
Museum devoted to the 1954
team that won the State Championship.
From there we will go back to Batesville to check into our rooms at
Hampton Inn. Dinner that evening
will be at Cricket Ridge Golf Course.
The next morning we will have breakfast at the Hampton and will check out
to board our coach for a short drive to Oldenburg, In. for a tour of the Michaela Farm
and CSA operated by the Sisters of
the Third Order of St. Francis. Our lunch will be at Wagners Village Inn in
Oldenburg, IN.
After lunch we travel to Indianapolis for a guided
tour of the home and gardens of Benjamin Harrison.
We will then head back to North Manchester.

deluxe coach at the Church of the Brethren

Travel to Winchester In. for a tour of Wicks
Pies-home of the Sugar Cream Pie, the official State Pie of Indiana.
Tour and see how they make all those pies.

tour of the museum featuring the 1954 Milan High School
