We are indebted to Mr. John E. Smith, agent of the M.K.&T. railroad at Waco, Texas, for a little pamphlet on the "cost of Cotton Production and Profit per Acre." It contains many valuable statistics regarding that crop in Texas. Mr. Smith is a son of J.F. Smith, near Ijamsville.
